On Thanksgiving, Proverbs 14:11 reminds us that visible strength is not true security. Give thanks for Christ, our shelter, who makes even fragile tents flourish.

Proverbs 11:28 is about where we place our trust. Riches cannot be a lasting refuge, but those who trust in Christ flourish like a green leaf. Consider what you have been leaning on, and return to Jesus as your satisfying portion.
