On Labor Day, Proverbs 21:5 challenges haste and shortcuts. Steady diligence and the finished work of Christ free us to plan carefully and rest deeply.

Desire without wisdom can send us rushing down the wrong path. Proverbs 19:2 invites us to seek God’s counsel, examine what drives our hurry, and slow down to walk with Jesus.

Proverbs 4:26 calls us to pause, reflect, and align our steps with the Lord. Thoughtfulness is wisdom in motion, helping us walk steadily even when the road is uncertain.
